Is this N scale or HO scale? You don't say.

There are forums here for different scales. Very clear if you take your time and look around.
Check the Parts page up top for possible parts.

Art-

I'm not an N-scaler but I think the solution would be the same as for HO: Just replace the coupler.
Worst case scenario is that you'd have to replace the draft gear (coupler mounting box) too. It
doesn't seem like a difficult task.

Hi PRR.Art,

When you say "the whole coupler attachment" to what exactly are you referring?
The lokie and tender are connected with a shouldered threaded pin/post.
The threaded (female) part to which the pin screws into is part of the cast loco frame.
If you broke this off, you need a new frame (chassis). Look here;

The tender has what looks like a draw bar but it's not.
It does not float free and is actually part of the tender underframe.
If you broke the slot on this part, and have the piece, you might try a bit of CA.
If you don't have the piece, then you're looking at a new tender.

If you just snapped the pin/post off, chances the threaded part is still in the loco frame.
You will have to remove that and just get a new pin.

The big brass pin in the photo above.

If you just broke off the coupler from the rear of the tender, then easy fix as Donaldson replied.

Most of the folks are very helpful here.
You really need to provide us as much information as possible when you post,
But just to say "the whole coupler attachment" really doesn't make clear to us exactly what you're trying to convey.
I know you're a relative new-comer to the hobby and we all welcome you.

Most who reply, will constructively, try to provide help and advice.

Posting in the General forum for a scale specific problem will yield less than posting in that scale specific forum.

There's a bunch of us over on the N pages... come join us.

Not that you shouldn't post here... but just sayin'
