For the Rio Grande road number 9043, can anyone tell me the Bachmann number and the type of engine?

Joe Satnik

Dear epee,

Google is your friend.

Search "rio grande 9043".

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

Google won't help much on this one. I can't find a number that high in any Rio Grande roster be it Denver & Rio Grande Westerm or Rio Grande Southern.

There is a modern short line "Rio Grande Valley Switching" that has an SDP40 numbered 9043.

There is also the San Luis and Rio Grand SD90/43 MAC loco's but they are road number 115 and 116.

Nobody had done an SDP40 in N scale, the closest thing would probably be an Intermountain SD45-2.

The San Luis & Rio Grande SD9043MAC's have been done by Kato.
