For some reason, when I try to sign in, or look at this website, as of lately it refuses to load. I get a 404 error, or a trouble message telling me the server will not respond.

Is there a reason for the sudden overload, or what?

Bob,
are you using Firefox by any chance?
Firefox has connecting issues..
many times Firefox wont connect for me, its random..
the problem is known and is being worked on.

I doubt the problem is with the Bachmann website..
its been loading fine for me for ages..no problems at all.

so the problem is probably:
your computer.
or your browser.
or your ISP.

Problem is likely the ISP.

I have had NO problem connecting with Explorer or Netscape.
And for the last 2 months I have used exclusively Firefox with
NO problem of any kind (not even Explorer's or Netscape's
tendency to crash my system every so often).

(EDIT _ I hope this posts after 14 seperate tries....)

Gene = after about 3 hours of hitting *refresh* after each server timeout.

Scotty = This is the only web site I have trouble with loading. I use Mozilla Firefox 2.0 (latest update) My computer is fine. My browser is fine ( I don't have any other browsers installed besides this mozilla). My ISP is a questionible thing, being Verizon/Fairpoint.

Dick = Verizon/Fairpoint up north here. Never had any trouble until recently. Recently being Sept. 3rd to be exact.

I have Central Vermont 2-10-4 kitbash project photos I want to post, considering I used a Spectrum 2-10-2 for the base, but I can't keep the site running smooth enough to let me post.

No problems here with Mozilla 5.0 running on Windows ZP at 3 GHz or Mozilla 1.5 on Windows 98 at 233 MHz, but kind of iffy (everything is kind of iffy) with Netscape ?? running on Windows 95 at 90 MHz.
Growing older is mandatory but growing up is optional.

Maybe its your modem. I was having a hard time connecting to websites, but after replacing the cable modem, everything worked fine.
