This has On30 written all over it. Would image a few On3ers would "broad gauge" a production model.

I have periodically brought the Lawndale locos up as good candidates to model.  Lots of character, small, and NOT Colorado!  Glad to have the reminder posted once again.

Having been to almost every narrow gauge railroad in the US that has been running in my lifetime (yes, even Alaska and Hawaii, I'm only lacking less than half a dozen in the lower 48), I get the appeal of Colorado/New Mexico NG operations. That and they stayed running as-is way later than any other.
But I get SO tired of internet forums and books that proclaim to be about NG is general but stop at anything with "Rio" or "Grande" in their names. There were (and still are) some very interesting NG lines elsewhere!
