Can I replace the wheels on my Bachmann 0-6-0 with traction wheels??

Trainman203

Look up a product called "bullfrog snot ". Terrible name but supposedly good product.  liquid application creates a traction tire.

Don't know, haven't searched for an aftermarket, maybe NWSL?

Maybe you could buy an extra driver here, at the online store?

There is some math involved.
You will need a caliper.
Do you know anyone with either a mill or a lathe?
It would be possible to DIY with a drill motor and a file.
You would have to make the width and depth to mate with what is currently available as a supply of tires.
You need to get the tires first so you know how deep to go.
Those are critical dimensions and depending on your mechanical aptitude may or may not, be difficult to hold.

@Trainman203 reply has merit as well.
Either way, you will gain traction and have paid the price of lost contact points in exchange.

Tender pick-up helps to mitigate that.

Good luck

The question is why do you need it?
