I added Kadees to an older Spectrum passenger car but they sag too low.  I added some paper shim and it solved the problem.  So..what is the best fix for this?  The paper won't last so I was wondering if there is a better way?
By the grace of God go I in Amherst NH.

I use strip styrene--the thinnest I can find.  I have a lot of leftover strips from building kits.  The best is the 1" X 3" strips, which are very tiny.  That should hold up longer than paper.  However, if you get enough glue soaked into the paper before it dries, the paper should hold for a while.

Sometimes you can clip what you need from the flat clear plastic that everything in big box stores is packaged in now.
