Hello.
Just purchased a new old store stock Norfolk Southern GE dash 8 40C still sealed. Realize this loco has not been made in quite some time. Opened it up to lube and was surprised it had a 8 pin plug for dcc and a empty spot on the board that is marked led 2,but no wiring to it. Was wondering what pin on the 8 pin dcc plug controls this light output? Like to add some ditch lights and make them light up.Also there is no bell! Amazed that this major detail is missing on a Spectrum. Or did I just get one that they forgot to put on? Thanks.

Forget it,Thanks  for listening anyways. I found a bell and the correct horn at the newly open hobby store. Nice loco same drive as my new Bachmann Norfolk Southern Heritage diesel . Glad this great drive mechanism   returns. Understand why they dropped the Spectrum name with the diesels . No bells . How can it be called Spectrum when major detail as simple as a bell is missing on all of the Spectrum diesels.
