Some time ago i mess my railpower 1300 power pack by removing the screw from the dc area because the screw head was worn out and theres a big hole there . can i open the unit and what type of screwdriver do i need .

Dr EMD

I think the powerpack are "sealed" to met the UL requirements for toy power supply.

The screws are "tamper proof" that require a special screwdriver.  You can make a tool to fit some of these by filing a slot in the middle of a regular blade driver.

You might be able to get a screw driver with security drivers. Some tool companies sell drivers with change able heads. I have a small set I bought at ACE Hardware.
