Good Evening .   I use turnout switches from Bachmann and Also Atlas . Since you have to switch then momentarily press down on the switch to effect solenoids to move track it helps to number and also to label the directions of the two track positions.  There are lighted switches available ,please  checkout  track section in the Walthers  Reference Catalog.

Ace, I use Atlas code 83 switches and switch machines. I just converted totally to DCC and use the Digitrax ds-64 to control my switches. I can operate the switches right from my NCE power cab and don't need a control panel for the switch buttons.

P-bridge - are you using table top or under table Atlas switch machines?
