Regauging SPECTRUM ON30 2-TRUCK SHAY to On3

Is it possible to regauging SPECTRUM ON30 2-TRUCK SHAY to On3 by postponing the wheels on the axles so that they fit on On3?
Or there is a better method ?
Any helpful answer is estimated.
