EZ is not listed as computable hardware nor in the drop down menu list.
Does anyone have a workaround?

Or should I get a controller in the list???

EZ-Command does not have a computer interface, therefor it cannot be used
with DecoderPro.

All the systems on JMRI's list have a computer interface.

If you plan to do a lot of programming, by all means aquire one of the systems
on JMRI's list.

Is there a 3rd party workaround...
Maybe someone that makes an interface?

Unfortunately there is no way of using the Bachmann EZ Command with the JMRI DecoderPro/PanelPro programs.
There is no way to interface with a computer. It has been up to the manufacturers, Bachmann, in our case to develop the hardware and basic software to allow "connection" to JMRI. JMRI and its members are outstanding, but they do need the interface from the manufacturer to tie it all together...
As an aside, the new Bachmann Dynamis system, although vastly superior to the EZ Command system, still has no interface available...

You may want to look at the JMRI download site and review the list of DCC manufacturers that will work.

Hi, I've been using a Digitrax PR3 as a hardware interface for programing my loco's using JMRI's software. I guess you could say this is entry level as it can be obtained for well under $100, but it works very well with all of my decoders.
