Help!
How do I remove the roof of a Bachmann coach car.  The unit is advertised as having a removable roof, but no instructions were provided. I'm guessing it's all in knowing where to pinch and pull. Since I'm blessed with several extra thumbs, I'm reluctant to proceed without further info.

Thanks, Pete

Grasp the body by the sides at the end, grasp the roof by the edges
and pull upwards.  The tabs are along both sides, it should peel right off.

Pete,

just to add: Please be careful as there are two wires for the Coach´s lighting system.
Just grab, as Tim said, on both sides and pull gently upwards. Could be done a similar way when you press gently on one side and pull, should come off that way.

Just keep in mind the two wires as you don´t want to damage them. They are not that short, but remember them...

Kind regards. Tom :) :) :)

There are no wires attached to the roof.

The wires you speak of go to the light bar, which
clips into the top of the body molding.

You´re right Tim-my fault...

Cheers, Tom ;) ;) ;)

Many thanks, Tim and Tom,

The coach (olive green) is down to it's component parts. Now, it's awaiting color selection, additional detailing and the arrival of it's companion (a Hawthorn Village combo).

Tim's correct about the lighting arraignment. Unlike my caboose, a  connector was not provided to facilitate disassembly.
