Prices seem to be rising almost weekly, so can anyone explain this ?

The IF 4-4-0 is $330 retail, yet the OF 4-4-0, released months later, which is much larger and comes with 3 stacks plus extras is $325 retail.
Perhaps the Chinese manufacturer found a source of cheaper labor.

More likely just an oversight that will be corrected with the next round of price increases!

My guess is that the economic slowdown caused a decline in the cost of raw materials, which made the locos cheaper to build.  I know petroleum went way down, and so did some metals.  The cost of transportation is also a big factor, since they are made halfway around the world from most of their buyers.
