Ditch Lights

This may seem like a stupid or obvious question but I am a true beginner.

Is it possible to put ditch lights on a DC locomotive?
If so, what kind are they and where can I get them?

Anythings possible, however that doesent mean it's gonna be easy. First off you need the lights, details associate sells very nice ditch light castings, and you'll need two grain of rice bulbs aka 0.9-1.5 mm bulbs. Now I'm not very good with precise electronics so all I can recommend is using some sort of constant lighting unit, which should work well with the 1.5v bulbs. So that's all my knowledge, someone else will have to be more specific.
