How to tell if its old Williams vs new Bachmann/Williams.

I recently acquired a used Williams F7 AB unit set.   They look like brand new.  However the front pilots on both of the units are broken.   On older Williams F7's, the pilots are made of cast.  The units I just purchased used are made of plastic.

Does this mean that the units with the plastic pilots are made by Bachmann?
Can Bachmann supply and replace the plastic ones?

Are there special marks on the new products that identify them as being made by Bachmann?

The plastic pilots were replaced with metal die cast pilots many years ago.They never made under the Bachmann name. Although your engine may be new to mint, it has to be at least 5 years old, if not more.
