Broken Part, HELP!!!!

I have an old Hogwarts Express Train Set, and the engine blew the main driverod pin, and I can't find it, does anybody know if there is a substitution part, or if it's possible to get a new part?

That set has been discontiued, so I don't think you can Contact the Service Department just to be safe.

I found the part but, the wire on the pin that keeps the Main Rod from sliding off (makes the pin wide enough) is gone, can I just put a thin wire on to make it wide... well there's an idea I think I'll do that
