2-8-0 with DCC wires to locomotive

I just opened a Model 25999 On30 2-8-0 locmotive with factoy DCC. We can not find the plug in recepticles for the wires from the DCC unit in the tender.  Nothing in box to give us help.

received my 280 yesterday and same problem. no literature to tell you where to connect the tender plugs... looked at the exploded parts diagram, the plugs are under the ashpan.

Since all the rod locos(since the Mogul) hook up the same way; i.e. remove ash pan cover, plug in connectors, replace ash pan cover; you would think Bachmann would include simple instructions for this. Any procedure  REQUIRED  to place a loco in operation should be included in the instructions, wouldn't you say?
