about them, do they all have the same motor and inside's? because i have all 3 but the daylight is the fastest and the postwar is the slowest and the difference is very noticable when running at the same time.  ???

Are all of your locos from the same manufacturer?  If not, that could easily explain the discrepancies.  In fact, even purportedly identical locos from the same manufacturer can show significant variance between individual examples over the course of a production run or over a series of production runs.  This is more likely with DC than DCC, but one could use DCC to make certain the locos did not all respond identically were one so inclined.  I can't imagine why someone would do that except for a practical joke.  At any rate, it's circumstances like this which cause us to adjust DCC decoders to match locomotive performance so we can consist them smoothly.

Are they all from the same production model.   They have been in production for 30 years or so.  Over that time many changes have been made.
