Plus F7 gears and the replacements in Bachmann Parts

Going by the photo, the gears on the replacement wheels on sale here are the same material as the original gears that develop cracks. Is this the actual case or are the replacement gears made of better plastic?

Hoping I can find out before I spend the money to replace 8 wheel sets.

If you really like those engines, you can buy replacement geared wheelsets from Northwest Shortline.  They use aged delrin for the gears, and the wheels are nickle silver.  Not inexpensive, but high quality.
