what wolud be the chances of bachmann making a model of the goat and/or the camelback engine
BRING BACK THE 425!!!!!
(or 2102. or finish the 113!!!!)

Not good Mantua already makes them, and they run pretty good.

i know and i already have a 4-wheeled goat but i'd like to get another one. and i can't find them or the camelbacks any more

The 0-4-0s come up from time to time, too. The trick is to check every day.

I think if Bachmann wanted to make a camelback, a 2-8-0 would be a good choice.

Or a 4-4-0... if I rememer correctly, the wishlist thread had camelbacks mentioned quite a lot.

I think the issue with camelbacks is that they are very regional - generally confined to the anthracite roads.  Bachmann generally likes to produce models that have as broad appeal as possible to maximize the market.  The USRA-based locos were operated by a lot of railroads across the country.  Not sure there would be the same market for, say, a Reading I-5c.

Not only are they regional, they are virtually all unique. A CNJ camelback can't be lettered for O&W or Reading, for instance.
