I got back from my annual Nevada trip a couple days ago and still have tons of catching up to do. I will post more pics and info in a few days but for now, here are some videos I shot in and near Ely, NV. Most of them show 2-8-0 #93 in action. One features RS3 #109. The first is a cool "over the camera" shot. The last one is kind of a blooper reel.

Thanks for sharing, Ray.  Last one did make me chuckle.

Those are great Ray and that's a fine railroad. What kind of camera did you use?

Thanks,

Thanks! The close up videos, including the "over the camera" shot, were done using my old JVC mini-DV camcorder, model GR-DVF21. It was mounted on a small tripod without extending the legs. For the "over the camera" shot, I simply placed the camera in a shallow hole dug between the ties.

The rest of the videos were shot using my digicam's video mode. It's a 10 mega-pixel Canon Powershot SD880-IS, a really terrific little camera and one of the few pocket digitals that has a wide angle zoom lens.
