I am have reverse loop within a reverse loop and use a reversing module on each loop. I am shorting out at the switch point of the inner loop each time the polarity should be changing.  Thing seem to run okay providing the polarity of the outer loop remains the same. Can anyone offer some help on this situation?

Nathan

Are you running the Second reversing module wired off the First?  That may be the problem,  wire them both off the power to the main line and try.

if there is a 'Delay Time' adjustment on the reversing module, set the outer loop for a longer delay time.  If there is not an adjustment on the units you have, you may need to get one that does.

Oftentimes, an inner reverse loop within a reverse loop does not need a reversing module at all.  Just connect it to the main line power and let the outer loop's reversing module change polarity to accommodate the inner loop.

Whether this works or not depends on the track plan and the train length, but it is worth looking into.

THANK YOU JIM, it was a simple fix, all seems well. Thank you Nathan for your suggestion but Jim's idea was straight forward and it works.

Jim has always had good ideas.  That is part of what makes Model Railroading fun, is helping others.
