Does anyone from the UK know if the transformer plugs included in Hornby train sets are compatable to the sockets in the US?

I am sure if they are made for the North America market they would have the correct voltage and plug.

On the other hand--if the transformer is made for UK power, if you tried it in US you would only get about 6 volts to the track. gj
