I recently purchased an assortment of HO scale engines and rolling stock at a train show. In this lot was what appears to be a Bachmann U36B with UP #824 paint scheme. I can't find anywhere on this Bachmann site that they even made a U36B in HO scale. I need a PCB for it and am having trouble locating one. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, they made them alright.

This is in a Bachmann resource site.

As to getting the PC board, I would call Bachmann Service and ask them.

You might be forced in to buying another loco just to get the part. Or just writing off the one you have and getting another UP U36B, if that is what you desire. I saw several on EBay.

BTW, this site is a good resource on Bachmann trains.

a better solution might be to buy a b23-7 and mount the u36b body to the chassis. they should fit with very little modification, as the length is the same. end result, you'll have a much nicer running locomotive that you can still get parts for.

Thank you both for your input, I will do some research and see what I come up with. If anything, I may just wait and see if the hobby shop I do repairs for gets a trade-in that is only good for parts. Sometimes I get lucky that way.
