Tsunami decoder function mapping

Some Bachmann On30 locomotives come "equipped with Tsunami sound technology".  Do these decoders have all the features of Tsunami aftermarket decoders, in particular, "function mapping"?

I'm trying to remap the brake feature, (F11 from the factory), to F7.  According to the manual, programming CV 41 with a value of 128 should do it.

I've done this with several Tsunami's that I've installed in other engines, but I can't make it work with the factory-equipped 4-6-0.

I'm "Programming on the Main", (POM), with an NCE Power Pro 5-amp system.  The engine jerks to acknowledge receiving the update, but doesn't change its performance.

Any help will be appreciated!

Bruce,

You may be best served contacting Soundtraxx,  the manufacturer of Tsunmai decoders.

Silly Question but did you remember to set the braking rate?

I remapped my Tsunami equipped forney to 7 also so my kids can run it with their ez command and use the brake, so it will work, I used the dynamis to do it though.
