??? I have just bought a buchmann train set
Is the Electrical current is 110V or can I use it also with 220V

Jerrys HO

In the US it's 110. I don't think Bachmann or any other makes 220. I know in other areas such as France everything is 220 maybe they make a different transformer for 220 for those applications. I would first check the Bachmann instruction booklet.

Do NOT connect it to the mains power supply. It will go bang and possibly cause a fire.
Do NOT use an ordinary adapter plug.
Which country are you in? Europe changed to 230v AC at 50hz many years ago. The US uses 110v AC at 60hz.
Buy a power pack with suitable voltage from a dealer in your country.

NarrowMinded

Your power Pack will have a Lable that indicates the Input and output voltage it may say Primary and Secondary

You have a Set so this does not apply to you, but the Dynamis system comes with a self switching Power supply 100vac to 240vac in 24vdc out. as indicated on the power pack.

Just for future referance if you up grade to a Dynamis DCC system.
