Nscale.net has discussion complete with pictures on installing DCC in an N scale 0-6-0.  Have fun, Mark.

The easiest way to install DCC in one of the 0-6-0's is to pick up one of Bachmann's Spectrum tenders. This will give you all wheel pickup on the tender which will improve the performance of the loco greatly and give you a place to install the decoder. You don't need to use the lightboard that they come with but you will need to add a couple wires between the motor and the decoder in the tender.
