New 2-6-0 Electrical Connections

I was surprised to see that the new 2-6-0 with DCC/Sound has a one piece electrical connection between the tender and locomotive.

Now if Bachmann would just change the Spectrum connections to a one piece as well. Better yet would be metal connectors but the one piece is a step up.

I think Bachmann, and others, use two connectors when the locos
have DCC and sound because one cable with all of the needed
conductors would be too stiff to allow easy articulation between the
loco and its tender.

I am talking about the DCC and Sound version.
