My sons Train keeps stopping while moving on certain parts of the tracks. I made sure the tracks are inserted properly. Not sure why it keeps doing this! Can anyone help?

Do the tracks go together loosely or very tight? The little connector pins may be stretched out and need to be closed a little or crimped over at the ends with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Clean the track and the engine wheels.
This must be done when ever needed to insure good electrical contact.
for the track I use a block of wood with a piece of cloth from a sheet that I bought just for this.
it is more then a life time supply, but at least I will always have some to clean track as often as needed.
