Caboose lighting

I just got back to model RR, this time N scale. I would like to try and add a light to a caboose,  but looking for the best way to open it. It appears the tabs maybe glued, any suggestions? Also, what would be a good way for picking up track power?

As far as taking the caboose apart, I haven't tried so I'm not much help but as far as lighting, you have a couple of options.

Use track power by swaping the trucks with those from one of the Bachmann or Kato tenders that have all wheel pickup.

Use battery power similar to the Rapido passenger car lighting kits. I believe Richmond Controls offers some kits for this.
