I have been by the spot many times. A friend has had a hotdog stand nearby. Great train watching spot at the west end of a CSX yard.

This looks like a nicely updated old station. ??? I hope it can and be salvaged.
I would enjoy an occasional update here on its fate.
Dont know about you, but any type of resoration work,
on anything old, is an automatic mood elevator for me.
Hopefully, with a rebuild, style will stay true to the
buildings original design.

Hopefully they had insurance and can rebuild. It looks to me it is a brick structure and they are salvageable.

Please update us from time to time.

I am interested as we are trying to save our 1903 built Grand Trunk Train station from being torn down here in Valparaiso Indiana

So far CN has been kind enough to give us time to come up with a salvage plan

A short video I took a couple years ago shows the building. A friend has a hotdog stand nearby. We sit and watch trans.
