Hi Guys;
I am in the planning process (still) of my "wonder layout"...  and would like to know if anyone has knowledge of the following:  I would likew to build a facility that repairs and builds crucibles for the metal smelting industry.  I have a couple of sources of some really neat details relative to the steel industry, and think it wold look really neat having depressed-centre flats carrying loads like this, both in and out of the facility.  Your thoughts anyone?

you might try contacting vesuvius crucible in pittsburgh, and see if they could provide some info. they make crucibles, and if you explain what you are trying to do they may provide some photos or brochures.

I'll bet you can find great information and plenty of pictures on line. Check
both companies which use the cruciables and companies which make them.
