Is there any word on the possibility of a baldwin as 616 coming out or any kits to make one?          Bachmann?

TJ

RGW,  Which version? The four axle or the six axle ? Ok how about both...

The 6 axle . The 4 axle engine is  a AS 416 I believe.

The AS16 was the B-B unit...
the AS416 was the A1A-A1A unit (used extensively on light railed branchlines)...
and the AS616 was the C-C units (the middle axle is offset, just as it was on most ALCOs).

Understanding that it is partially due to supply and demand.Since ATLAS has the BLW VO100 all we need now are these BALDWIN Diesels AS416, AS616, DT-6-6-2000 and a S-12.
