4-6-0 won't run

I just received a brand new On30 4-6-0 from a dealer on Ebay today. The lights and sound works fine when I use Channel 03, but no movement at all!  I have a Digitrax DCC system and other locos run fine.
Anyone have this problem? Any thoughts on what to do before I send it back?

I have had a few  problems with'brand new' locos purchased from eBay dealers ,

You could  try a decoder  reset  usually  enter value 8 in CV 8.

If lights & Sound  are  working  then the loco is  picking up power  OK, so there may be a problem   with the power reaching the motor

I assume that  you have  checked that  the  loco  to tender connections  are OK?  No loose  cables?

I would be inclined to return the  loco to  the  dealer  and  get a refund.

I have this loco and find that the plugs that connect to the engine can appear to be fully in but are not. Try pushing them in a little more, it may work.
With this loco you can disconnect the engine completely and still have the sounds etc as all the gear is mounted in the tender.
