Bachmann Reversing Track

Hey All, newb question here again.  I have the Bachmann Reversing track and feel like I'm following directions but it doesn't work right.  Either it stops on the power track or when it goes, it bangs into the Hayes bumpers.  I had to do something odd with it that weren't in the instructions last year to get it to work but can't remember and it's driving me mental.  Are there any pictures out there from underneath the track that show you how this is supposed to be configured?

Figured this out, didn't have the powered track at the end, tried to put it in the middle which what was going on.  User error
