I have recently purchased a K4 Mikado. The bell works as does the chuff but no matter what I do the horn is so quiet that you have to put your ear to it to hear sound.I know there is a problem that I cannot find.2 of my train club members have the same loco and their horns are fine.Any suggestions welcome.

Use a proper DCC system to adjust the horn volume up. If you don't have a DCC system, you'll have to purchase one or borrow one.

And it's a PRR K4 4-6-2 Pacific, not Mikado.

We have  Digitrax systems and we have tried to change CV115 to no avail.

Maybe try to reset the decoder. If that still doesn't work, you might have a defective decoder. However, the whistle on these things is not the loudest. If you're trying to hear it in a loud setting, it will never be loud enough.
