DC switches used with DCC

I'm contemplating expanding my layout using E-Z track and the Bachmann E-Z Command.  My question is can I use the normal switch tracks if I power them with a separate DC/AC transformer and the remote switches supplied with the switch track?

yes you can.

as a matter of fact some of us who run dcc prefer to operate the switches the traditional way.
