Having a technical difficulty, without Flash support, can't download pdf catalog; Flash no longer supports Vista 64bit, only 32 bit.

And unless my Social Security Disability income suddenly triples, buying a new computer isn't an option.

Try going directly to the .pdf download here: http://resources.bachmanntrains.com/bachmann2016/offline/download.pdf

That should bypass the on-line version that requires Flash to access.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

I am in the same, financial as you. But since my computer with Vista will easily support Windows 7, I am just upgrading the OS. No need for a new computer.

Question is, will my Trainz 2006 run on Windows 7?

You could always try and get hold of some one, from the company who makes it and ask.

That was one of those questions where I already had answers from playing in Google and finding various forums: one example, "TRS2006 installs but doesn't work particularly well".

And then there is my messy health, the less I have to go through new computer things the better. Among the other things the situation causes is sometimes my body is difficult to get along with and there can be stretches of a couple days to a couple months that I can't work on hobbies, my body just won't do that for either the 3D or electronic trains. As it is there are about 1/3 of the days in a month where I have zero business trying to drive as either my physical coordination, or my ability to focus, are too far off; and, some days my hands simply won't grip the steering wheel.

The fewer hobby hassles the better. I'm already about 6 years behind where I could have previously been on both my part of the club layout and my little bitty layout at home.
But, hey, I am thankful to be able to still do model trains any at all.  :)

Yeah, the physical limitation do put a damper on it. All we can do, is what we can do.
