I have given this a lot of thought and I think that in addition to sound, there should be a function for uncoupling cars from the engines.  It would require a geared coupler box and coupler, but I think it would be awesome.  At least for the time being, restrict it to the locomotive, but maybe sometime expand it for uncoupling cars in the middle of the train.

Anyway, this is just my idea.  Anyone else have an idea for a new function? 8)

There is some one doing that, I think Tony's sells them.

It would be nice to give direct links when suggesting an idea.

:D Now, we can finally have an FL-9 that operates prototypically.

Rich,

Sorry, but I was only on the computer for a couple yesterday, had an appointment to go to.

     And I thought I had a new idea. :( :(

Gene,
The only reason I would want to know how much it would cost is if I were planning to build one.
