Hi Mr. Bachmann:

Is there any chance of Bachmann producing models of the Tokyo Disneyland 30 inch gauge locos?

This would be a perfect fit for track gauge.

Wow.   That would be a great loco.

Fingers crossed.

They sure would make for a great model to freelance for the non-Disney types.
I'd think you could even use the existing 4-4-0/4-6-0 On30 running gears Bachmann already makes, even though the wheelbase would a little off?
I took this shot on the steam shop tour in 2011...

I could use 2-3 of these.  Need more medium sized locos...lol!

That would make a great train set to sell at the Disney locations and by the way it would look great pulling those new 18' freight cars.

Where can we get one of those Toma Disneyland Western engines shown?,are they On30?.

They were a non powered plastic kit, made by Tomy in the 1980s.  I don't believe very many were imported into the USA.  There has been one on ebay for $180.00, which I believe is a little high.  The loco shown on the link may have been painted a brass color,or cast in brass from the plastic parts.  It is very close to On30.  Some modelers have done free lance powered conversions.

Those locomotives might not be a bad idea. Not just for regular On30 modelers, but also for those folks looking for an "old time" train for their snow villages.
