My g scale big hauler's back up light just stopped working.  How do I troubleshoot this

Get your multi-meter out. Do some continuity checks is what I would do. It could be burnt out.

Most don't have an operating backup light.
Which loco do you have?

I own a red south pacific coast big hauler that has a working backup tender light, its a third generation.
