Posts with unknown European lettering

I have seen these posts within the last 2-3 weeks. Asking one time how to view I was given some instructions how to translate. Did not do it. Again today was another post. When just looking now I see the post has been deleted? Any ideas what is happening or is this Bachmann deleting bad items?

Those posts have all been by spam bots. We are deleting the posts and banning the spammers as quickly as we can. We are also going to see if we can add any more security features to prevent them from signing up.

Most of them appear to be in cyrillic, which most people associate with Russia. But it's also used by a number of other countries.

I went through the process and translated one of the messages. It was nothing more than an ad and a link for a gambling website. And if you looked closely, even though I can't read cyrillic, the sentence structure was identical in all of the 4 messages. Not model railroad related at all.
