I have a dcc ready s-4. How can I tell what decoder to get to convert to dcc? No sound. 8 pin, 9 pin?

The HO DCC Ready Alco S-4 has an 8-pin decoder socket. Check with your decoder manufacturer of choice for a product that will fit inside the locomotive.
