Hello all!

I have had a long absence from the forum, for a number of personal reasons... not the least of which is that I retired for good and relocated to southwestern Ohio.  If any of you are near this area and know of an active MR club, I'd be interested.

My new home has a large, unfinished basement.  I have sectioned off a 16'X18' area to begin work on my final-final layout.  ;)  Now that I'm getting up there in years, my layout will be 48" high so I can scoot under the layout on a shop stool, for wiring and the like.

A couple of photos of my mega-maniacal plan:

More later.

Hope you kept all your notes from the last layout.

If at first you don't succeed, throw it in the spare parts box.

I assume the B&O will make a return? Looking forward to this layout.

There are several clubs in SW Ohio. Do a Google search on Local Model RR Clubs.

Welcome back.

Lost my mojo.  Trying to upload some photos.  Let me see if I can get it back.

This is the yard:

Mainline runs along the wall, behind this peninsula:

Passenger service, with siding, as the trains move to the turnaround peninsula:

The end of the layout, final peninsula.  This also has a large siding for industries.  Whew.  Hope this worked.  More to follow...
