Need Lil Hauler coupler conversion part

I have a set of four "Lil Hauler" coaches with link and pin couplers that don't match the industry standard. At one time Bachmann made a conversion part that they included in their large scale Thomas items to correct this (they didn't include the part in the Lil Hauler items, alas). I called Bachmann recently and they told me the part # was G88012, but they had none in stock and are not sure if they ever will again.

I don't need to convert all four cars. If I just convert one end of the baggage car, I will always use that as the "converter" car for the rest of the train. But I don't even have one of the conversion pieces.

Does anybody have one lying around that I could have/buy? Thank you.

Hi, If the Thomas coupler is interchangable with the Lil Big Hauler coupler see if it is available in the Thomas Parts section. Failing that post your above request in the Thomas forum. Just an off the cuff thought.  Good Luck Loco Bill

Thanks. The Thomas coupler itself is just like the Lil Hauler coupler... wrong height, but it came with the adaptor. I will ask if someone has a spare adaptor there.
