Thomas HO DCC with sound max draw amps?

I plan to convert a Thomas Tank Engine (58501) DCC with sound to R/C battery. The plan is to use an AirWire c15 decoder and an 11.1v LIPO UKARMS AC-221C PEQ Brick from Amazon. The max draw on the C15 AirWire decoder is 1.5 amp. Will the factory Thomas HO DCC with sound exceed 1.5 amps?

Where exactly do you expect to cram  all that stuff? There is no room in Thomas except the cab, and it's smaller than the 2.5 inches both of those items require.

I have used an HO trailing boxcar with battery and a second trailing boxcar with decoder and wired them together many times before.

Now, will someone from Bachmann answer my question about maximum draw on the Thomas model 58501 please?
