Help, the front truck on my rail truck has dropped off. A screw holding it to the frame of the truck has worked lose. I have looked at putting the screw back in but it is covered by another plate which holds in two sprung plungers and that plate is held to the front truck by two screws that one cannot reach once the truck is held in position under the main body. Has anyone had this problem before and can you give me a step by step description on how to reconnect the fron truck to the main body and frame. Thanks

I have just checked my LS Rail Truck, and there is no screw holding the front truck in place, you just push it onto a knob, which it pivots on!

Check yours and you will see what I mean, very simple design feature.

Just a word of warning, as I am certain we're gonna get a rash of these "my railtruck is broken" posts.

The front truck is held on with a snap fitting.
Kinda like the old H0 CV truck mounts, or a plastic version of the snap on your jacket.
Derailments might knock it off, rough handling certainly will.
CAREfully snap it back on if it comes off, direction unimportant.
