Hello everyone, it has been a while but I'm back. I was looking at a Broadway Limited Blueline Big boy today. I would love to have one but I recall reading somewhere (maybe here) that it won't navigate an 18 inch radius. The website says that the recommended minimum radius is 18" but is that realistic??? Does anyone else own one?

It is possible that the BLI Big Boy will waddle around an 18" radius curve.  If it does, look out for the overhang - your boiler may knock down a bunch of trees or some kids playing too close to the track, or move A car into B truck.  In any event, it will look- bad.  Big engines require wide curves to  at least look good.
