I don't have problems using two engines on a train. I often run my P32-8 and F40PH in push-pull mode on corridor trains and have no problems unless a coupling breaks lose.

As for dummies, good luck. Athearn's not making them anymore.

   Welcome aboard. Athearn isn't making much of anything anymore.  :-\ Figures, but I hope, and see by the newsletters, that they are working on improved models of those discontinued.

"Athearn isn't making much of anything anymore". - What planet are you on?  They may have cut back on kit production but have new releases of items out almost every month.  Check your facts before commenting.  That way you might know what you are talking about!!
