Very nicely detailed. we Finaly got them in and was a little surprised they took a 15 inch radius. I personally would have liked the CASS style cars mostly becuase i was going to have a "high" bridge on my layout. well i guess i can still have it if i put a fence around it to make it look safe for the fella's riding the train. I'll be picking mine up ASAP and of course having my Climax's Shay or Hiseler pulling them. I think i can get away triple heading 3 Climax's on DC

Hey MR. B. Any chance of you guys making the Log Car with Crane that CASS has(I have a Cass DVD I got today)

Slight Off Topic to all members...maybe Mr. B can answer this...is it possible to mix DCC controllers(IE using the Bachmann Dynamis for my normal operations while using say Digitrax for my Loging/Tourist Line as i want to have switch backs and will need to stop both trains(trailing each other) so they dont run into each other and the DT4 would work. (We had a Digitrax Seminar this past week).

You can mix the two systems as long as the tracks are not connected, for easyness and cheapness I would go 100% Digitrax.

for me Dynamis would be cheapest....its only $180 and would do what i need it to do....anyway to hook the DT400 into the Dynamis?

Same here with wanting Cass cars (I work there), but this is what Cass should have designed for their cars. Talking with the trainmaster there, it seams that the new "reserved" car for the Whitaker trains WILL feature a clearstory roof!

An American Log Loader would be an excellent model for BMan to produce. There are a few models of Barnhart loaders made, but nothing for an American.  Barnharts were more common in the boom years, however the wooden structure didn't last, and the American loaders withstood the times.

Since Bachmann has a soft spot for Pocahontas County in it's models, and since there are 2 of them there (D&GV has one from Moore-Kempel Lumber, and Cass's is from Elk River Coal & Lumber) it would be really cool.

Maybe when making it, they could design a Meadow River Lumber log car, since both are more modern than previous offerings... Come on Lee! I didn't see you in Cass this year! LOL
